First developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi . Transcendental Meditation (TM) established teaching, living, and retreat spaces separately for men and women. After Maharishi's passing, his youngest student, (HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation) arranged to purchase the men's site at the very top of the mountain for the Foundation's US Meditation Center.
